Both our shops in Elephant & Castle and Brixton offer a beautiful space to host your own workshop.
Rent our workshop space in Elephant & Castle!
Our shop in Elphant & Castle shares a space with the cafe bar, Little Louie which is available to hire in the evenings from 6pm.
About the Elephant & Castle Space:
- Our private space is furnished with tables and chairs to seat up to 30 people. Please note the furniture here is provided by a vintage company and is subject to change so you’d need to be open to changing your setup occassionally, but there will always be space for 30 people.
- Available for booking every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday starting from 6.00 pm.
- Feel free to bring your own refreshments, or we can arrange a refreshment package for you with Little Louie which would include wines, cocktails and hot drinks.
- Our space can be brightly lit, ideal for detailed work like embroidery or jewellery making, or opt for dim lighting, setting a cosy atmosphere perfect for activities like tarot readings.
- Multiple plug sockets are available.
-The space would work as as event space as well if you wanted to have a product launch.
- SoLo Craft Fair will feature your workshop in an Instagram story, amplifying the visibility of your event.
- An Alexa speaker is provided for playing music.
- Access to sink, and toilets onsite.
- Accessibility: accessible to wheelchair users with wheelchair accessible toilets.
Requirements for Renters:
- Kindly dispose of all rubbish properly at the end of your event.
- Promptly clean up any mess created during your workshop.
- If your workshop involves messy crafts, please cover the table to protect it.
- A 48-hour cancellation notice period is required for all bookings.
- Renters are responsible for any damage or theft of stock resulting from negligence.
- Public liability insurance is mandatory.
- Bring your own glasses, cutlery, etc., if you're serving refreshments and you haven’t ordered food and drink through Little Louie.

- 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm: £200
- 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm: £220
Our fees cover staff wages (a team member will meet the workshop facilitator before the event to help you settle into the space and will join you at the end of the workshop to lock up), as well as utilities, overheads, and admin.

Are you on the lookout for a venue in South London to host your workshops? Why not consider our shop nestled in the vibrant heart of Brixton Village? We offer an ideal space that sets the perfect ambiance for all sorts of creative workshops, ranging from wreath making to needle felting!
About the Brixton Space:
- Our private space is furnished with a table measuring 173 x 78 cm and seating for up to 8 participants (including the workshop host).
- Available for booking every night of the week starting from 6.30 pm.
- Feel free to bring your own refreshments; you'll have access to a mini-fridge.
- Our space can be brightly lit, ideal for detailed work like embroidery or jewellery making, or opt for dim lighting from the under shelf lights, setting a cosy atmosphere perfect for activities like tarot readings.
- Multiple plug sockets are available.
- SoLo Craft Fair will feature your workshop in an Instagram story, amplifying the visibility of your event.
- An Alexa speaker is provided for playing music.
- We don't have direct access to a sink (you'll need to use nearby vendor bathrooms in Brixton Village), please consider this if your workshop requires water, such as painting.
- Accessibility: Though accessible to wheelchair users, there's a small ridge at the door, and the space is narrow. For priority accessibility, it's advisable to view the venue beforehand. Current bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible (under renovation as of May 2024, updates pending). Bathrooms are gender-neutral.
